punto alternator

hi anyone with info, i recently bought a punto its a 1998 the battery light came on so presumed it was the alternator, but i have put two on it now one used and one new also a new battery .... and still the light remains and the battery discharges, help please.... thanxs

I have the same problem so far no solution Iam keeping my fingers crossed
