I have a 2040 cd player in my old granada it has no prefix letter but needs a 4 digit code, I am having hell's work trying to get it can anyone help the serial no is 0013538.

I put it in correctly but nothing happen it just carried on flashing

(and a MK3 Granada, of course !)
Ford CD2040, Serial No. is 0037591

hi can any1 help i have just bought a mondeo which had a problem i had 2 take the batery off and the code 4 the sterio was diferent than the 1 i needed its a 6006e serial number m063872 thanks

CODE for Ford 1996 MODEL,RDS Radio 6000CD?
Hi can you or ANYONE help me get my stereo/radio code as i changed my Wife's Battery in her car and when i went to put the stereo on it asked for a code only to realise we were sold it without the code along with the manual...DohhhhShe has been without sound for 2 weeks and dont like having no stereo and is driving me mad my serial * is M157939 i think. and the model is 1996 M-reg Many thanks for your time signed Moses
