Hi Caz, Have you had a look at Cades Camp Site Guild? It shows all the camping sites and lists what each one has. You can buy it from most outdoor shops and it's pretty cheap. I use mine all the time to see which ones take dogs.

Hi Carol, just read your message, it is a long way to come BUT Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park in South East Wales is fantastic. They have pitches for touring caravans as well as static caravans. Lots for the children to do, beautiful scenery right on the Coast and ideal for exploring, castles, markets, theme parks etc. and a family clubhouse for that drink. I love it so much that I have bought three caravans there which I rent out when not using for myself and family and have actually moved to the area last october best wishes and good camping Tricia

Try Glenridding in the lake district, amazing views of the lakes and soft grass for the tent. lovely quaint village. we spend 8 days there and loved it.

Glad you like Park Resorts, you must come to Carmarthen Bay in Wales, we rent our static caravans ourselves and give our guests personal, friendly service and we are cheaper than Park Resorts, and you get to enjoy all the facilities, lots to do on site and plenty to do nearby including visiting Kidwelly Castle, Oakwood & Folly Farm

This is a lovely site and not so far to travel! It is at Bolton le Sands on Morecambe bay. They now have a cafe on site and the local pub in the village nearby is good.

Hi silverjay04, That's so funny :) This is the same camp site I use. It's good news that they have a cafe now. As I don't drive it was a walk to the local shops lol.

I used to have a static caravan on Red Bank Farm and it is such a good site. The Archers (yes, really!) own the farm and they run it so well. We called in at the new cafe/shop there last week - they've converted one of the old barns and made a really good job of it all. I know the shop sells their own farm produce such as free range eggs and organic meat etc., but I didn't notice any other provisions so maybe a walk to the village is still the only option for groceries, but it is worth a phone call to ask them.
I used to camp there before I decided to get the static. The intention was to travel around the camp sites along the Lancs coast, but I just found this one and stayed!
This is the view from the farmyard, across the bay, although you probably have a pic like this already!
Best wishes for your travels.

Great pic silverjay04, The reason we picked it was of the beach being so close for the dogs. I want to go back again it's just getting the time off.
