hand brake is not working, just bought the ban private, was assured everything working but it doesnt seem to be doing anything. any help please.

If the handbrake isn't working its doubtful that the brakes work at all, i.e when u are towing, so they need checking out, they could need adjusting at the shoes in the wheel, or the cables & rods could be too slack, but u need someone with the technical skill to check them for you.

hi thanks for your reply, do you have any idea as to cost, we have just paid full amount for caravan. and im really narked about this. ive never ripped anyone off but feel ive been done.

if you go to http://www.mcea.co.uk and phone your nearest mobile engineer he will give you a price and come and do it on your drive or were ever you got it parked
