acer empower removal

I have an Acer aspire 9302 and would like to remove the empowering software that was pre installed on the laptop when i purchased it last year. what exactly does this software do ? Will this cause me any problems ? How exactly do i uninstall it ? Do i need any of this software to run my laptop ? These may sound quite silly questions to all the experts out there but its better to be safe than sorry. Cheers

harm.I have an acer Aspire tower system with exactly the same software added.Do you get the E empowering logo at the top of your screen when you log on to your comp ???. If you do, its quite useful. There are four circles in it which are clickable and will tell you whats going on inside your computer if you are interested.Otherwise just right click on the logo and shut it down. ___________________ Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can`t eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away.
