Hi guys. Just bought a 306 turbo diesel but when i accelerate i don't think the turbo kicks in. If i stick my foot down in first it pulls accelerates up to about 2 or 3 thou revs then just goes flat, and the same in second and so on. What, and where, should i be looking for? Any help gratefully accepted.

it might be worth looking at the condition and security of the hose coming from the turbo, as any leaks here will stop it working properly.
also a leaking exhaust manifold could cause a loss of performance.

Thanks for your reply tjp.
I removed the intercooler and had a look around and found that the pipe that should be attached to the actuator( i think it's the actuator) was actually attached to the bootom of the fuel filter. Refitted to the actuator and all working hunky dory now.

i have just bogt one too, i would like to know more about what you did, as i have athe same or similar problem
