HI, Joe here a new member. I have a 1986 Peugot camper here in France. After having lots of gearbox problems I managed to get hold of a gearbox from a Talbot Express van which fits perfectly and works like a dream. However the connection for the speedo cable is different so I can only assume that a speedo cable from a talbot express will fit. My problem is where can I get one ?? Any suggestions will be welcome. Joe

Hi,I think the speedo drive unit may be interchangerble, may be just the thread size that differs, take your old gearbox speedo drive out and see if its the same fitting as the new box one,I think it a forked fitting with about a 10mm bolt holding it,if they are, check the drives are the same,if they are it should be ok,Pete.
