hi all,cant find the fuse box inside the car,the book says its somewhere near the glovebox but for the life of me i cant see it or find the handle thingy,any ideas,cheers

been a while since ive seen one. have you tried the back of the glove box from inside or it woud be directly under the glove box. a lot of fords have them to the lower right of steering wheel. (move seats right back before looking and kneel ouside car to look)

yeah tried both sides bas,in the book theres a pic of the glove box and some sort of catch release but it just aint there,bin on me hands n knees under steerin wheel but no joy

behind passenger side glove box pull out glove box hard and you will see it

i tried pulling glove box down but if i gave it any harder it would have bust something,ill have another tinker tomorow and hopefully will get some joy,cheers all.

There are two separate fuse boxes in the Mondeo mk. II (or at least there were in my '97 petrol 2.0 petrol version). One is below the glovebox as described. It's basically a tray on a hinge that you unclip and then pull down. My memory is that you don't have to pull the glove box right out to get at it, but access is easier if you do. The other fuse box is under the bonnet, towards the front on the right (as you're looking at the windscreen), next to the battery.
The manual which came with the car will tell you which fuses are in which boxes. If you don't have it, a Haynes one will.

It's behind the glove box , open glove box and pull towards you ,had mine out plenty of times . You then have a catch on the r/h side to release to allow the fuse box to swivel down. Hope im not to late to help .
