as a female, single parent with no help i have to sort out my kids wardrobe doors which catch on the drawers below. tried looking in books but just carnt get the hang of it. ___________________ single mature mum, youngest has tristomy 21 (downs) - born in march 08.

I've had a think about your problem and he advice you are getting is bang-on but there is one thing you should check before you start messing with the hinges - as they can be a pain in the ar**. Check to make sure that wardrobe is sitting as near level as possible and if need be pack it up a bit. Most modern furniture is the MFI/Ikea type flat-pack stuff and they are a bit flimsy at best, making them hard to adjust properly. I had the same problem last year with my grandaughters wardrobe and ended up removing the handles, lying it face down, squaring it across the diagonals (same measurement both diagonals) and securing it with metal straps. The straps were 4 for a quid in Poundland. after that it was a doddle adjusting the doors plus the 3 drawers moved easier. The wardrobe is perfect but my floor still runs down for about 2 inches grapler
