Hi Guys the problem I got on starting the scoot first time she cuts out after 15 seconds when you ride off she looses power and cut out a couple of times then when she warms up she is fine and no problem,
Ive changed the plug renewed the auto choke stripped the carb and cleaned checked the diaphram and all seems ok Ive come to a dead end anyone with Ideas

try it with the auto choke back on

Hi Rowe, ive fitted a new choke and still the same problem

is it upjetted?
if so, try a standard jet and see what that is like, try screwing the mixture back down too

thats all i can think of :/

hi rowe the jet in their at the moment is 85 and mixture screw is 2 1/2 turns out any ideas

warm it up first

once it is running then rev it up on the stand and slowly apply the brake until the wheel stops, if it is still revving wuite high then the mixture is too high. wind that down a little, and it should come down, repeat the process until it comes back to tickover

Hi Rowe ive done that put a new plug in put a new carb on checked the valve clearance and still the same starts no problem runs for 30 seconds and cuts out even if i rev the engine it still cuts out

Hi guys just to let you know problem sorted checked the valves again 1 was tight so re adjusted it job done running like a dream
