Hi. I have an S plate Rover 400, i am having problems getting into 2nd gear whilst changing down gears. It ok going up, but when changing down it does not engage, i have to engage it into first then into second whilst clutch is in. Any ideas what would be causing this? Is it a simple job to sort out or a major one? I am guessing at gear selector, but it is just pure guess.
