Because im in the trade i can buy my tyres at cost which are 225/55/17 for £78 each plus vat which were for Pirelli Scorpions . I went on the net and could get no-where near the price , the best price for like for like tyres i could find were £103 . I could buy lesser quality tyres for £53 , they were called Nang Kang or something or other , the point here is that when buying cheap tyres do your homework and makes sure you are getting reasonable quality , you may be saving yourself £30 but , if they last 10000 miles less than better quality tyres then its not worth it . Regarding tyres i have always aired on the side of caution and gone for the " better quality " tyres ......But ultimately the choice is yours . In the trade the wholesalers are the only way to go really. Mind you makes you wonder what the wholesalers get the cheapy tyres in at eh ! ___________________ THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT !
