just looking over the post and yours came up, I am afraid that Omega's eat front tyres, over the years I have spent a fortune on new ball joints and tracking. I have now come to the conclusion that it is a design fault we are going to have to live with. The most economical way to deal with this is fit budget tyres and change them round frequently, sorry if it seems a negative attitude but it is the only way. Regards Les P.s. Just binned a pair yesterday off my 2.5 TD CDX Auto Estate, must have at least 5mm left but scubbed off on inside edge.

the micro bulbs do not seem to last, bit of a pig to change as well regards Les

I would change both rear brake light bulbs, if one has blown and is shorting it will blow a fuse, this is the cheapest option and you will probably find it solves your problem Regards Les
need some help with my Omega. its a 2000 V plated 2.5 v6 CDX. the outside temperature reading shows up with a F followed by degree C. i fitted a new outside temp sensor but it didn't help does it need resetting to accept the new sensor? i also need my cd player unlocking. it plays the radio but the CD changer wont work. it needs a code, has anyone got any idea what the code is? thanks alot. look forward to getting some replies!!
take your log book to your local vauxall dealer (for ID), tell them you want the radio code. it will cost £21 and they will ring you later same day with the code, then through the post you will get a security card for your vehicle, it will have RADIO CODE , CD CODE, IMOBILISER CODE, KEY CODE, AND ANOTHER but can remember which, it is a like a little credit card (you should have one in car or from prevous owner)
thanks for getting back to me so quickly! i've been realy worried about taking the car to a vauxhall dealership as i've heard some bad things with huge charges but £21 is excellent!!! finally get rid of it saying CDC SAFE! i'll let you know how i get on. have you or anyone else got any idea how to sort my other problem with the outside temperature sensor? it just reads F-C when i click through to it using the MFA. please help!!!!
