lol he is so cute he has the chihuahua shape and the yorkie colours hehe how much was he oh and what characteristics does he have chihuahua, yorkie, or both i heard about chihuahua breathing problems does rolo have them or does he not have any chihuahua problems i suppose it depends on which is the mother and wich is the father if the mums a yorkie hes more likly to have some little yorkie problems and if the mums a chi then hes more likly to have chi problems but cross breeds are not meant to have any probs

he doesnt have any problems. His mum was a mini yorkie and his dad a short hair chihuahua - both were pedigree.

he shouldnt suffer from any problems as thats why they cross breed them really - to make them stronger.

I wasnt after a designer pup - its just that no one else wanted him as he was larger than his brothers and sisters so we adopted him. they cost around 700 but we only paid 300 as it was either us or the pound. the problem with chorkies is that they can turn out so cute like my boy - or they can look diformed or like aliens. Its quite cruel if people cross breed them on purpose to make money cos they may look really wrong and not be wanted becausde of it. he was from an accidental litter and not planned, his mum had her op after he was born to stop her having any more.

hey i just found this thread and im gonna reply as i read haha i have 2 windows open for this thread. one for reading and one for typing LOL

anyways first off.
woohhooo bindi is an insoiration...second off.AWWW i chose bindi coz its original ..unique and different and she would be the only bindi around here.. ahh well at least you dont live near me to steal her glory lol

lol natalie i wasnt 16 hehe but then again the one i had before i was 15 my mum got rid of bonnie was lovely but because i was still under her gardiance or whatever i had no choice i guess its better when your older and have more say.. but if yas gonna do this you HAVE to be commited theyre like babies and keep you up at night. they need training everyday to keep them in line lol haha i sound mean like my dogs are kept in line more like i am lol just kidding my girls are very well behaved i train everyday because i really enjoy it. i see it as bonding time.
wont a pup distract you from school though. i was like you (without going into detail) i didnt go to school much and my mum got me angel when i got some bad news but i had waited years for her (by choice) untill i felt i could dedicate every waking moment to her needs. if i was out with mates i always have my ohone on so if anything happens to my animals or they get upset over anything im only a phone call away coz they are MY responsibility and they are a big responsibility coz their lifes are in my hands. are you ready for all that? its a wonderful thing but you have to be dedicated.. will your mum be helping to bring her up or just you?

i think she meant the pup...wouldnt you be better waiting until you finished school thats what i done and pip was classed as a family dog untill i finished school and now shes my responibility too. you cant care for her if your in school and you mum might not want to look after YOUR dog ya see i know my mum wouldnt want too

aww thats a cute name princess katie.. little long though hehe.. whats your pup called i have never actually asked that lol

aaawww everytime i see that pic i smile princess katie he loooks sooo content and happy

doesnt always work like that kiera.. illnessess are inherited when hes older he could have no health problems or he could have a mixture from both breeds.. not all chihuahuas will get ill the same as not all cavaliers will get heart problems but it is possible no matter which way round the parents are the chances are equal

not all cross breeds are healthier. mongrels are known to be healthier but can also suffer from inherited diseases as can any dog or human for that matter

ye princess katie he is a cutie... natalieee on here has a chorkie too called heidi and she is mega cute but she doesnt look like your pup does shes got more chi coz shes 3/4 chi 1/4 yorkie and she is mega mega cute..her pics are on the chihuahua thread

cuter??kiera is that possible have you seen the pic hehe

lol i dont need to call her bindee if you want your bindi too be unique so i might as well call my dog something else like madison or westley or anything unique ok unless your really ok with me calling her bindee and dont worry there are lots of pets and people called bindi just not as many as other names look at the role here bindi irwin the real reason why i didnt want to call my puppy bindi is because it reminds me of steve irwin and one morning i woke up and looked on tv and the news said he had been killed by a stingray and left his wife and young daughter behind but now i really want too call her bindee

Are you sure that you have the time and dedication to raise a puppy at this time in your life? You have said that you will be going back to school, having a puppy will leave you sleep deprived as you will need to let them out to go toilet after they sleep, after they eat, after they play, you basically need to let them out every hour or so. This could have implications on your school life and schoolwork.
Have you decided if you will be continuing on into further education? This is something you are going to have to take into consideration, as if you decide to do so will your parents be willing to keep the dog while you go off to uni?
There are also the costs of injections and insurance and other vets bills.
I think that it would be in both yours and the dogs interests to either wait until such times as you can provide for the dogs needs both mentally and physically or get a dog that is slightly older like a 2yr old as by this age they will be house trained and will also be able to be left on their own for a couple of hours.

i agree with poot poot. bindi takes up 24/7 of my time. if i pop to the shop she has to be wrapped up and carried with me (this is good for her to socialise but not always good for mme) not that i mind but she is with me every minute of the day.. they may be cute and cuddly but theyre alot of work and judging by your comments ruining my chihuahua thread i would say you a little immature for a dog right now (i dont mean any offence by this but for the sake of the pup i would wait or as said i really think a slightly older rescue dog would suit you better
