Please please help - my peugeot 206 keeps cutting out when slowing down and the indicator flashes left at random - I've taken it to a garage and they've ran a diagnostic test - nothing shows up. They've suggested I leave the car with them (not a peugeot dealer) but i'm really worried about the cost - must be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to start looking for the problem and solving it?
Many thanks

I have the same cutting out problem with my 306 (1.8). I come to junctions, traffic light, roundabouts etc and it just cuts out for no reason. We took her to a mechanic who told us to "open her up on the motorway" we did this but this has not solved the problem.
It's been sitting in a forecourt for god knows how long. We bought it the other week and been having this prob since day 2. Sellers' mechy had a look and done some work but won't give back the dosh.
Any suggestions - how to fix the cutting out problem? (I know what to do about the seller and his mechanic) lol
