I apologize if this is to techie,but my home built computer,which performs well, has started an annoying fault.
When booting up,it starts the POST 'power on self test' to chech that everything is ok,and pluged in switched on etc. in the computer
It gets as far as notifying drive info,when it stops with error message,press F1 to continue doing that,it boots up ok.
I have done every check I can think of,to no avail,drives are recogised,dvd writer,graphiscs card,sound card all ok.

If I were you I would double check your power supply fittings and make sure that it spools up as soon as you boot and doesn't take a while to get up to speed.

Sounds like a power problem, but could also be loose card or dirt.
