Hi guys...remember me with the rover and the nightmare head gasket??well thought wud let you know got rid of rover and got this little honda civic car. Best thing we ever did!! its a lovely little car...its older than rover 'L' reg. (rover was 'V') but its genuine 43.000 miles as we got all service history with it. its quiet..it starts..(up to press that is) its in superb nick..(old guys of 80 had it before and only run it at wknds) just had to put new cd player in it cos it was original radio/cassette..everyone commentin sayin how good it is for year..engine very very clean...so i hope made the right move...seem to have up to press..but time will tell...i miss the rover for the pulling power up hills...rover was 1600 this is only 1300!! so i notice big difference in that..but its cheaper tax..insurance..and lighter on petrol..probably if rover had head gasket done properly in 1st place..it wud have been ok?? wont know that..anyhow thanks for the advice you gave me whilst havin trouble with head gasket and i hope i dont have to write to ask about this one...BUT if you hear an almighty scream...this car will be playin up.....take care...caroline....

Hi Caroline, glad you got everything sorted, hondas are great cars, don't think you'll have any problems, but might miss the excitement of 'what happens next' that you had with the rover. Good luck!
