Hi there, unfortunatley my mother has just passed away, she was heavily into all sorts of crafts. As a result of her hobbies my dad has been left with a full room of products some never been opened. These items have no sentimental value and we would like to sell them. Does anyone know of specialist car-boot sales for craft items? Preferably in Scotland. Any help would be much apprecaited.

you could try antique fairs. if you type craft fairs into google it brings up a list of websites, most you have to subscribe to, but it is not more than about £10 for the year, they give details of all fairs, and you can select your area, from flea markets to craft fairs etc.,

Hi, do you have W.I markets up there in Scotland? Or contacting some local craft groups or even put an ad in the local paper.
Another idea -Some members of my craft group attended an auction that was set up by the family of a well known crafter who had died and left boxes of supplies and finished items.
Good luck.

First of all, sorry to hear about losing your mum. I would sell the items as job lots (split into craft categories) on E Bay. They usually sell very well that way and you get more for them (and it is a lot less hassle) than selling in single lots.

hi so sorry to hear about your mum. I would sell them as a whole. I craft and make cards jewellery and alsorts and I know it's big business because over the last three years have spent an absolute fortune. Someone that's just starting out crafting would love to buy what you're selling, I wouldn't split any of it. Put an ad on this site preloved if you need any advice and don't know how much something is worth get in touch via this and I will do my best to tell you. I have like I say alsorts of crafting goodies myself and would be happy to help moo x
