cavity wall/Moth invasion/bird nest
Messages 1 to 1 of 1.
I've got a serious moth problem. Found them under the chairs, in the piano, behind the bed headboard and all over the ceilings, in cupboards. Spending hours each day hoovering them up. Just got some spray from a vets and want to make sure I haven't missed anywhere before I use it as it's for floors etc. There is a bird nest somewhere in the cavity wall which I can't access which may be the cause. No idea how to get it out. The birds got through a tiny hole in the house wall above the airing cupboard and the first I knew about it was when I kept finding fledgelings round the house. I thought they were coming through the window until I realised it was the airing cupboard. A relative temporarily filled the hole in the outside wall once the birds stopped and the adults flew away but said it was only about a brick in width inside before a large hole probably where birds fell through. I've been let down by a number of 'professionals' who didn't bother to turn up (twice) or ring back they include the council. Any ideas?
