Engine keeps cutting out

While driving my Fiat Stilo the engine keeps cutting out, only for about a second then starts again. Lately after it cut out the ABS warning light came on with a dashboard message - ABS failure and ECD failure. Took it to the garage sods law all the warning lights went out they cant find anything wrong with it. Would be gratefull if someone could give me clue!!

I had a similar unexplained Cutting out with my G`friends 54 plate Stilo, & it only happened because I took the battery out to charge it as it had gone flat whilst we had been on our hols. I cured this Wholly Fiat problem because it always seemed to happen to my Uno, then my sisters Poofto, & I was forced to leave the engine running until the radiator fan came on, weired I know then Before i started it I cleaned all the connections from the battery, & all the connections into the Ignition modules, covered it all in Wd 40, & hey presto it cured it on all of them, as all the bodies may differ but most Fiat engines & electrical parts never do, If it breaks down on one model it breaks down on them all, hope this can work for you, as all it cost me was some time, some, Wd40, a wire brush, and a lot of patience, & never had to deal with it since, but remember to get your I.C.E. or radio code numbers handy.
