Well, Marley is finally beginning to grow a bit - just thought i'd post some pics for you to see his development. He can be a pain in the bum..but we all love him to bits, even the closet-cat-loving hubby! lol This is marley when we went to pick him up at about 8wks old.

Whizzy is a lovely cat, hes really coming out of himself now, will even sit near Hubby now (was abused previously and bit hubby a few times! lol) Am amazed at how laid back he is being with the kitten, he hasnt drawn blood once which is more than i can say for the kitten to whizzy - he has loads of scratches on the top of his head, poor boy. Cant wait til Marley gets the snip!!

Marley is about 4months old now. We let him outdoors properly for the first time yesterday, he thought it was Ace! Am a bit worried though coz hes still so small and i worry that he will venture next door into the cat-hater's garden.. So we just kept an eye on him and brought him in after about an hour. It really tired him out though, he slept all afternoon after that! lol ___________________ Love me..Love my animals! :-p

Am assuming his hormones have kicked in coz his pee is starting to really smell quite nasty and although hes not spraying, he does keep dominating my older cat..and the dog...and the hubby...!! Cant wait til hes old enough to get snipped! Good job my other animals are fairly patient with his antics. ___________________ Love me..Love my animals! :-p

Marley is gorgeous!! Our old lady cat - quite ancient now, we think she is about 15, rescued her years and years ago, she had a bad life and doesn't let anyone fuss her, scatch and bite first, ask later is her motto! - she cleans our goldie! Tiny little tabby and white, smallest tail around, very little time for our other cat, but is soooo attentive to our 2yr old goldie, who she battered the first time Iz came home at 8 weeks. Meg (the cat) waits until Iz (the goldie) is asleep and then washes her face, should Iz dare to move, Meg just readjusts her position and carries on! In the 12 years Meg has lived with us, all the animals that have passed through - there have been loads - she has never had a friend, until Iz, an unlikely match! Aren't cats funny?! They just accept others on their terms and everyone falls into place with it! If only life was that easy!

Iz is looking gorgeous - like a real goldie now (rather than a yellow fluffy pup) isnt she! Your dog/cat relationship sounds really similar to Marley and Poppy's. At the moment i have two dogs on the sofa (wher they are not allowed - oh well!! lol) with the cat snuggled up into Poppy's tummy. They all look so peaceful and cute. Jasper is frightened of Marley though and will run if he tries to sit on his head..a favourite position when on Poppy. Does anyone else have Mentally Challenged animals, or is it just me?!! At least they make me smile at least once every day, with their antics. :-) ___________________ Love me..Love my animals! :-p
