On Some of the older models there was a tinly little screw head built into the switch, just below the side/head switch which could turn the day running lights off and on but on the later models the lights are turned off via a diagnostic tool but the instrument lights still come on independently, What some people do though is to simply move the dimmer wheel down to put the instrument lights off through the day. ___________________ THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT !

If it's the later model that doesnt have the screw in the switch then you can just go into volvo and ask them to activate them for you if you want them on. ___________________ THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT !
