idle speed too high. Think it might have something to do with engine brackets can any one advise

Hmmm.. what makes you think that engine brackets are causing a high idle speed ?
I would be checking for unmetered airleaks, e.g. a vaccum pipe split or even a faulty servo(latter is rare though) also worth checking idle speed control valve/stepper motor is working correctly e.g not sticking or sludged up with oil.
Oh yeah you would have been better posting this one in the peugeot forum as more people would read it as it's a peugeot !
