Hi again

For the past few days have noticed that when starting the engine I can hear water trickling through the system,,,, is this an air lock??? if so what to do??? also any help on the other post I put on here a few days ago, thanks in advance again.

Is your vehicle a K series petrol Freelander ?

Hi, yes it's a k, had the head done in december 6 months after purchasing it, lucky its under warrenty till june 09.

Then this is bad news which you need to get sorted asap , airlocks in the cooling systems of these vehicles can do severe damage ....dont be tempted to drive it , if possible get it recovered to a garage .

Its normal a gurgling / whooshing noise which you can hear which sounds like its coming from behind the centre of the dash , this needs to be bleed out and quick .

This is a simple process but in my opinion is something you need to get professionaly done ..... get it to your local garage get them to make sure you have no external leaks , to find out where the coolants going and to bleed the system properly .

Hi,
Ok im on the case, will get it done asap, but it's has been like this for a good many days now. Oh well looks like another claim on the warrenty. Thanks very much for your advice yet again.
