Ive Never worked on a Hobby but as most caravan fridges are fitted the same way heres how.Outside of the van :-- remove the 2 fridge vent covers, 1 type has a white domed screw at the l/h/side, turn it 1/4 turn then pull off the cover, the other type has 2 black retaining slides in the first top vent slat, push both towards the middle to release them, then pull off the vent. Next if it has one pull off the chimney end cap that comes through the inner vent cover, if the chimney is just venting inside the van it can be left alone. Now check that the gas pipe & any cables to the fridge have enough slack to allow the fridge to come forward enough, u may have to release them from fixings on the side wall. Inside the van:- open the fridge door & remove 2 plugs from each side wall, behind these u will find 4 posi drive screws, remove the screws, the chances are u will only be able to unscrew them they wont come out of the recesses. U will now need 4 lengths of thin metal, cut up tin drink cans are ideal, they need to be slid in between the screw tips & the furniture, its to stop the screw points & the damaged side wall of the fridge where the screws were forced through causing burrs, they will rip the face off any furniture they come into contact with & will take a chunk out of any edging strip, i always tape them in place & never try to pull a fridge without them as they always cause damage. Next try lifting the fridge slightly to take the weight of the bottom then pull it forward, if its in tight u can try using the door to rock the fridge out, or u may need someone pushing from outside, once its come forward 6 inches then most work can be carried out on it, its rare that i have to fully remove it, i can work on most things through the outside vents, theres a good chanced that moving the fridge will have caused a gas leak at the rear gas pipe joint so before relighting or refitting test for a leak there, its also wise to carry out a gas test to the whole van before & after any work is done, that way u will firstly know if u have or haven't got a leak & secondly that u haven't left it with a leak. Refitting is of course a reversal of the above but i always like to knock those screw burrs flat before refitting.
