trying to reinstall Nvidia card after reinstalling WinXP.Downloaded drivers from Asus,wont install 6003 error.used safe mode and deleted old drivers

Try downloading the latest drivers directly from NVIDIA rather than Asus.

If you have any anti-virus software or any other application running, close that first then try installing again.
