Kontiki '95 Cab and Body 2 Different Colours ?

also , why is there a different colour with the cab and the camper body , the cab is white and the camper body is creamy ? is this the way it left the factory or has it faded over time ? I know it's not a major issue , but colour coding does look better . again , I think the '95 Citreon was all one colour ...the Fiat and Peugout seem to have 2 different colours . can anything be done to bring the white of the camper body out , like rubbing compound etc. ? thanks .
