I have jessie born 10th may 08 and milo born 30th may 08, both are doing well and eating and drinking fine, i have noticed that milo has had constant runny poo sometimes with a little blood in, i havent changed his food.
What is worring me more is, last night when i got into bed i noticed a bad smell, kinda reminded me of disscharge......there it was on my quilt, bloody/yellowish snot-like stuff, could my female cat have come into season already. its definatly from her, she loves to sit on my knee but really smells of this discharge(if thats what it is) Please help

she probably in season again they can come into season really quickly and carry a litter while nursing one. the kittens are old enough to get her spayed now preventing any more litters. as far as the runny poo have you wormed them yet ? this can give them really bad tummies they need 3 days treatment every 2 weeks until they are 10 weeks old if you have done that try a scrambled egg they love it and will bind them still dont work then it will need to go to the vets could end up dehydrated so keep an eye on them with the warm weather hope it helps

Hiya, if you say one has had runny pooh, i would say its probably a bit of diaorrhea - my cat used to get mucassy pooh when suffering. Its usually an indication of worms. I seem to worm my kitten all the time!
It may be her coming into season, but i cant remember my females ever having much of a discharge when coming into season and they certainly didnt smell? Could it be an infection?

It could also be a Pyometra(infection in the womb) so a definate trip to vets is in order.I presume that they are all vaccinated as Feline Infectious Enteritis is a killer of kittens and can cause bloody Diareohea(sp)
