im no auto electrician, you may have the wiring, or the connections already behind the dash clocks/airvent on that side of the car, if you have the gti, if not you could take the feed from the ignition switch but you need to ask someone that really knows, maybe on a "escort gti forum", but the guys on "preloved" are normally great with this sort of thing, tommy
