Peugeot 206 Central locking problem

My daughter has just bought a Peugeot 206 1.4 Verve 2003. We have noticed that when she tries to lock her car with the central locking on the key the locks close and then bounce up again. The electronic message on the dash board keeps reading that the right rear door is open even though it isn't. We can lock the car using the key in the lock, although the alarm goes off sometimes.
If anyone has any suggestions about what we can do to fix this, please let me know.

Hi my car does exactly the same! it will unlock by pressing the button, but will not lock. im sorry i cant help with this as i have not had mine fixed? it is annoying though. if you find a cure let me know ! :o)
