There is a quick thing you can try though. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to position 2 then press the lock or unlock button on the key a few times and the locking should start to lock and unlock. This is primarily for the central locking but it can some cases sync the key with the transponder. Also try your spare key just in case a fault with your main key has cropped up. The transponder is basicly a reciever unit that wraps around the ignition barrel to recieve a code from a chip in the key when it's put into the ignition, if this goes faulty or the key goes faulty the immobiliser wont deactivate. If this fails it might have to get a diagnostic done to see what codes have come up with the immobilser circuit. ___________________ THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT !
