Hi could anyone out there help me? Got a Rover 45 and the cylinder head gasket (and possibly the cylinder head..... not sure yet) has gone. Has been suggested that an engine from a newer car should be put in as Rover apparently modified the K series engine to prevent this from occuring. But I don't what year the change took place. Have searched everywhere........... please, help ........... someone.

Hi Margaret,
I'm not sure about the modified engines you speak of, I've never heard of that before.
Are you certain its the head gasket that has gone?
There are plenty of people around who can fix this for you, where are you based?
