how to change microswitch taps

Hi we have a fleetwood crystal 1989 which has a problem with the microswitch tap in the bath room its sticking on which means the water pump is going all the time we need to change the taps but cant seem to work out how you get the old ones out any ideas thanks

If the tap is a whale mixer with a knob each side of the spout, you prize off the 4 covers in the corners to expose the screws then unscrew them, if your lucky the rectangular hole that the tap sits in will be big enough for u to lift the tap out/up far enough to see the switches, u then pull off the rectangular plastic retainers & the switch will drop off the 2 pins it sits on.
If you are not lucky there will be a bit of wangling to get the tap out.
