Alko AKS1300 Stabiliser Handbook
Messages 1 to 7 of 7.
Now i havent fitted these units for a couple of yrs as they are only £15 cheaper than the the aks 3004 so we just about stopped stocking them & only fit the 3004. But as far as i remember u drop the van onto the tow ball, then turn the dial until it clicks, then push the arm down fully to lock onto the towball, u must stop turning the dial as soon as it clicks or u risk overtightening it which will break it. ___________________ N.E. What I would add is all the Alko stabilisers need special towballs with extra clearance for the bigger head. Also the ball itself should be kept clean and totally free of grease, a can of spray brake cleaner and rag is ideal for the grease and one of those soft sanding pads for what's left ___________________ website: http://www.arcsystems.biz email: [Log in to view email] If you want to join the 'CARVER QUESTIONS' discussion and ask a new question, click on any 'reply to this message' within that discussion and your question will then appear on the last page.
