Hi Julie, I am not a therapist or anything like that, but sounds like your daughter has an unresolved issue. School has just gone back and if this is happening at the same time, maybe she is having a problem there. Hope that helps.

hi ie just gone through this with my 7 yr old boy. He ended up on a mild medication from the doctors to help. I wasnt really happy about this to be honest but it did work. I also bought him a worry doll. You tell them your worries and put it under the pillow and while you sleep it takes your worries away.
my son was worrying himself stupid about going to a new school. Try talking to her, if shes worrying about people coming to the house, is it all people or someone in particular that shes not keen on?? Talk to her teachers aswell, I did and they were great, they kept an eye on him at school to try and establish if someone at school was upsetting him. etc. Hope this helps. janine
