Bought 1.8 1998 Dispatch, will not start. Have tried jump starting, has fuel, does anyone know if there is an immobiliser we can't find? Please help, am desperate, can't afford tow truck etc. or even garage.

You have a security code which needs to be keyed in on my Dispatch it is on the dash board to the right of the steering wheel a flap which pulls down.

Many thanks for your reply bassman, will check for this when I get home, however van now working it was the solenoid - doh.
