Recently bought a 2001 1761CC Berlingo. I have trouble with the dash, tht the tach and petrol gauge don't work. Has always been a good starter though. Just tried to start it and it starts and then cuts our immediately. The rev counters comes straight back down and it splutters a death. I have put a little petrol in, as the gauge doesn't work, but that has not done the trick. Any ideas please?

Might be no use to ya but my Hdi '03 Berlingo was cutting out n similar fashion last week, but only when I put her in reverse. Plugged the reversing lights out of the gearbox and away she went no bother. Probably water somewhere. Hardly related to your trouble but you can have a go anyways.
