I have just gone over a huge pot hole in the road and now the air bag symbol on the dashboard has lit up. The air bag has not gone off so does anyone know how i can turn it off.

not heard of this happen b4! well really you need to take it to a garage which has diagnostic equipment who can read the fault codes and point you in the right direction of whats wrong. just to let you know if the light is on the air bag system is not functioning correctly and may not work. I think it could be the seatbelt pretensioner connections under the seats but only let trained people sort this out.(dont have a fiddle about yourself)

big tony is right, dont try to fiddle with anything to do with the air bag system on any car !

They MUST be done by trained persons using the equipment designed for the job.

i deal with salvage cars and quite often have cars with air bag lights on for no apparent reason, many a time i have just disconnected the battery for an hour and the light has gone off, worth a try but make sure u have radio code first. Richard
