hi all recently brought a xantia 1.8 16v on a xreg ride dosn t seem to be as smooth as ive heard it should be ,is there a way i can check if my spheres are all right (6 in total) thanks for any advise .....pal

As a guide they get past there best about every 30,000 miles but obviously this will vary on terrain and the driver.
If the car feels a bit hard and choppy going over bumps it's a fair bet there past there best.
Although there is 6 it's normal to concentrate on the outer 4 for handling or harshness problems.
There not too expensive an item to buy as a lot of the independent motor factors now have these on the shelf.

thanks L.B for your time will price them with local factors by the way is there another part for this system(in side black box left of engine )maybe some type of e.c.u ,have seen a part on ebay but not sure if its for my model cheers ....pal

Another part for the suspension do you mean ?
As long as your car isnt an Activa model and just the normal xantia then the suspension system is purely mechanical with the exception of the fluid level indicator.
