I have a Citroen ZX 1.9d elation. (1996) The car is fitted with a immobiliser which requires me to key in four numbers before car will start. Most of the time it works alright but in the severe cold weather I find one of the keys i have to use is sticky---I wonder if anyone can tell me if it is possible to change the keycode I use and if so, how it is accomplished. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi,Pamm
Enter your code and then press C. Enter the new code and press C the green light should flash 4 times with 4 bleeps your new code is then set.
You can also change it when putting the car in a garage for repair without giving the garage your code. simply enter your code and press S.Enter a new code say 1111 and press S the green light should flash 6 times with 6 bleeps.When you collect your car simply enter your own code and the service code is deleted when you switch on the ignition.

hi i have a 1997 diesel berlingo van. I have typed the wrong number in the keypad 3 times and it has locked me out. Both the green and the red light now come on. Please could anybody help me with this. your assistance would be much appreciated. Ade

Hi Ade,
When you put the incorrect number three times the computer will lock you out for 30 minutes,even if you type in the correct number,just leave it for half an hour and try again.
