hi can anyone help please i have a citroen zx 19 diesel dimension. when i start the car my indicators , wipers and brake lights dont always work the battery light comes on dim then bright when you brake or use the indicators or wipers. i have to switch off the engine and restart it upto five times to cure the problem. any ideas please!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like alternator have u checked with voltage meter,Richard

my father has the very same problem on a xantia.he doesnt have to start it again though,he just gives the steering wheel a box or two and everything works away grand.citroen could find nothing wrong but a lad told him its a faulty wire plug at the back of the ignition switch.the same man told him also that boxing the steering wheel could make the air bag blow out,is this true?
