HI. Happy New Year, I have just bought a 2005 Citroen Berlingo, 1.9 LX Diesel, on my way home I noticed the vehicle increased the speed on its on bat, It made no difference what position i held the throttle at. she just keeps surging up three to 500 revs and then falls down the revs again, the throttle is just an ordinary cable she seems to be getting an extra injection of fuel to cause this increase in speed, anyone had this problem, 103,000mls on the clock, thanks Des.

Citroen Berlingo 2005, Speed Increases on its on bat ?
Just found the problem, it seems the electronic ERG valve is faulty.
NO problem since I fitted new one.
