C5 Rev Counter LED Light not working

We have just fixed the speedometer on our citroen C5, (which suddenly stopped working), by removing the instrument panel, and gluing a new pin into the speedo, but now the led light on the rev counter has stopped lighting up. Does anyone know if this can fixed and if so how? Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks Evian!

sounds like you may have disturbed the connection for the led when you had the panel off

yes it does, but I am nervous about taking the panel off again, in case the speedo stops working again, plus I am not even sure where the connection for the leds is on the panel?
