I have a 'R' Reg Citroen Xantia. The pads on the rear were low, when putting new pads on the bolt which holds the fitting onto the hub has snapped, with little or nothing to hold onto.

We have tried heating the remainder of the bolt, and trying to drill it out (number of drills have snapped)

Can anyone offer a suggestion. In view of the age of the car although it is MOT'd till July and taxed till then will have consider if it will be too expensive to repair or maybe scrap. (Pity because I am pleased with the car)

Someone has suggested that I may have to get a second hand arm for the car and work from there. ARE THESE DIFFICULT TO GET OFF AND REPLACE. Is it a small arm or does all of it going onto mainframe have to be replaced
Thanks Tony
