Hello everyone...

Sorry my 1st post is a question...

I have a citroen zx 1900td,i have only had it about 2 weeks and since i bought it my heaters only blow cold air,ive tried to bleed the system using the valve at the top of the radiator but this hasnt helped as theres still bubbles coming up in my radiator...Im hoping this is my problem because the last couple of days ive had to fill up with water and my water pipes become pressured with air(plz dont tell me my head gasget is on its way out) and it has started to overheat...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in this matter...

THANKS...

hi
as far as i can remember theres a bleed srew on the radiator 1 on the thermostat housing and one near the heater pipes on the bulkhead i also used a funnel with a pipe on that would fit into rad to raise the water level to help push all air out.
hope this is of any use
good luck
steve

You are correct about the bleed screws - but im sorry to say that if your getting water out all the bleed screws and the water is flowing out the matrix and radiator clear and easy enough, then it may well be the head gasket - especially seen as thought your contiually putting water in it every other day and its pressurizing.
Regards Tim
