hi there i have beutifull 1991 bmw 325i i am attempting to do the head gasket myself but i find myself stuck when it comes to undoing the timing chains does anyone know how you undo them

Never noticed this question as it was posted in the Citroen forum !
Anyway there is a bolt on the side of the timimg cover that is required to be undone and removed to slacken the timing chain it's an easy and sensible idea and almost never goes wrong.
