Hi,
Yep lickin her bits and feet can be the early signs of being in whelp.. If sjhe is already in whelp the temp drop may have been missed. Keep a cose eye on her and you know where I am x

she also keeps lickin me too... my hands n feet... she layin down in front of me now but doesnt lay long keeps gettin up n down, wat should her tepm be then normally and in whelp plz hun he doent seem to uncomfotable though?

Ahhhh she is a right barrell belly bless her lolbooboos normal temp for a bitch is 101F, you need a drop of below 98.8F and whelping will normal start 12 - 24 hours after that drop. x

hi laura hun her temp i stayin aroung 99f is that normal as she seems to be running aroung outside and playin and her vulva is no longer swollen very very confused :(

hi there,quick question rio yesterday had some milky coloured snotty stuff come from her vulva and today she was sick it wasn't lump of food just foamy stuff, my parnter said when she went for toilet (a number 2) her vulva was like pulseting and more of the snotty stuff came out. should i be worried or is this kidda normal

Annie was a bit sicky about 3 times like that 1-2 weeks before she whelped, I think you just have to put it down to things getting a a bit pushed for room inside her now, Annie had 9 pups, and she got really uncomfortable towards the end. I always go on behaviour, Annie got really restless 12 hours or so before she had the pups, and did not want her dinner (most unlike her) she always puts up a drama in the beginning, but once she has had the first couple of pups, she then gets on with by herself!!
How far gone is Rio now?

hi hun he being weird again today i think it might be a phantom cause she just mopping around and temp still 99f but not got any bigger or any further swollen teets in the end of her last litter she got gooey stuff hun a day or so before he whelped so keep an eye on her xxx

Hi booboos are you using a digital thermometer? Rosie temp is fluctuating from around 37.2 to 37.9 which is around 99f to 100f

yeah hun a digital one keeps saying 37.5 (99f) and stays around that mark always ill do it agin in a minute last time i did it was this morning hun about 8ish

Hi cllmmllm,
As bonnyless has said it is normal, Rosie has vomited white frothy stuff for the past couple of days as Mia my last girl did.... We have the stringy discharge too... Its fine as long as it is not coloured or smelly xHow did Rio manage to get on that chair lol... She is massive!

When is she due booboos because she should look pregant now unles perhaps one pup? Have you seen any movement? It does sound very much like poor Millie when she reabsorbed her pups x What have your vets said?

she's on her 53rd day today.her sick was a reen colour but no smell and the stringy stuff doesnt smell either,her teats are leaking a little bit too

My Annie had her babies on the 60th day, bitches can whelp from about the 58th day onwards, so maybe she has about a week to go now!!

i went to vet yesterday and vet said not sure wats going on(typical of him) i think he doesnt want to admit he miss diagnosed her, maybe she has absorbed pups i dont know hun but her milk isnt filling that quickly i think at latest he would be due monday so unless it is only 1 pup, and only 2 teets have milk in as far as i can see hun so very unsure hunny x
