I am so glad I found this thread! I have a Jack x Cairn Terrier who we mated with a Jack Russell, she has been back with us for 3 wks on friday, she is a different dog since coming back very mellow none of this jumping like a pogo stick business! and her nipple have also become more prominant and pink especially the back 4 and she is saggy how weird is that!? She seems to have put weight on and sometimes she eats some times she is not fussed. She too in not 2 yrs yet but the vet never questioned it just said she would be a very fit young mum. So we are awaiting that point in time when we will be able to feel the pups.
So this thread has helped me and put my mind at ease that our girl is most likely preggers! Yey! Apparently they tided four times for 30 mins each time and had also been left alone so who knows how many times they happened to get it together!

thanks to everyone who go back to me today about rio you've been a real help us.Rio's not eating today and i was just wondering when should i start takin her temp i read on the 58th day 3 times a day.hi rbb, i started the thread to get some info on how i could tell if rio was pregger's and the info i got back really helped me and im so pleased its manage to help you aswell and hopfully it will help others too!

sounds like you wont have to wait that long to see Rio's pups, how exciting! Bet it seems like forever! Cant wait to see pics :)

ruby will be 3wks tomorrow, well we got her back 3 wks ago tomorrow and she was mated 4 times as far as the studs owners are aware of, they were also left alone so who knows how many times they got down to it but it all happened over 4 days, including the day we got her back, every time they were tided for 30 mins!

rio nd rug only tied once and that was for about 30-45 mins but had met 3 times before butwere lefted alone.
from what you've said i would say she's pregnant.
if you read through the posts on this thead there's some really good advice which you might find helpful.

hi hun i have a problem i have just been informed that because its her second litter her teets wouldnt show as much till after whelping have u heard of this before ???

hi booboos,im mother-in-law staff had nipples like that second time round then they filled up but she did have a bit of a belly.
rio's got a harness and cant put it on her any more as she's to big lol!
she was acting really strange last night took her temp and it was 37.8c-100f so she must of just been in a wierd mood, ive noticed she wont eat in the day she eats at this time of night.
And today i fell down the stairs and really hurt myself and was crying normally rio would go and hide in her bed (something shes always done since a puppy doesnt like crying in adults strange i know) but as i was layin on he floor she came over and nudge my hand then licked side of my face which isnt like her at all
