aww bless her and i hope ur ok after fall hun well her belly has gotten a bit bigger last few days but not a huge amount so just have to wait see wat happens the nxt week my friend says give it another week cause he could have caught her right at end so fingers crossed x

hi booboos,yeah im ok bit battered and bruised, justglad i wasnt carrying the baby.
yeah i'd give it a another week to be sure. rio's due on the 2nd of april goin by first meeting bye oing by last she wont be due till the 11th and i cant see her goin that long. took her temp again today still at 37.8c-100f so no change yet. her teats have changed though where as before they were full and sagging down their still full but alot rounder andcloser to er body she looks like shes hada boob job done over night lol.

dee,im fine a bit bruised nothing major thank god bloody stairs ive complained ever since i moved in over 2 years ago that they need fixing i came down them a few weeks ago andhad the baby in my armsbut thankfully the stair gate stopped us had a great big black bruise on my leg then never mind.
i was suprised bout rio being so caring usally she runs a mile,so i hope by this she going to be a good mum to pups

boobooLooking at pictures i have just seen of your bitch i would say it dont look like she is in pup and i one picture you can see that her belly does not stick out more than her ribs or we her ribs Or she only 1-2 pups My bitch lilly (whippet) had a litter 12/12/08 and she had a sort of season about 2 weeks ago she never swelled up but her nipples got bigger again It going to be a waiting game
but fingers crossed she has got some in there when was her last litter?

hi laura,yeah it was a bit ouch! im still sore now lol rio's acting really strange, she wont eat in the day only at about 12 at night, instead of laying down she throws her to the floor when on floor straight in to strench out and thats where she'll stay till i sit down then shes riht beside me on sofa grunting till i take some notice which isnt to long. this is her today bless taking it easy x have you herd from booboos?

Bless her she is huge with big boobies bless her x Struggling to get comfy then bless her. Rosie much prefers to eat later in the day/ evening think she feels less sick!Well we had copious amounts of diahorrea from Rosie yesterday and today her temp has dropped so hopefully not long left for my barrell keeping a close eye on her x No I have only spoken to booboos on your thread x

Just a quick question about my JR, she should be around 26 days into her pregnancy...she has gone off her food totally! I have changed her food to puppy complete its down all day and she just has a few bits now and then, she is just not interested, she is also sleeping loads but will get up to play with the kids for short bursts. Should I be worried and is this a good sign that she is in pup...I'm so impatiant! I found her yesterday asleep in her whelping box! Real shock that was as she hasnt been interested in it at all, she has also taken to sleeping on a comfy chair in the lounge so I have put her cushion on it.Thanks

hi laura,ahh bless rosie i bet that was horrible you know what its like when we have it.
what did her temp drop to?
has it stayed dropped?
i bet you cant wait now have you ever had a dog give birth late? rio's always asleep at moment or up movin trying to get comfortable surely she cant have long lefted by how big she is she surely cant et any bigger!
going by the first tie she was with stud she'll be 63 days this sunday the 5th but going by when they tied she wouldnt be 63 days till the sat after the 5 making that the 11th do you think she'd go till the 11th?

ahhh booboos im sorry to hear that but like you say theres always next time.
keep checking on here for how rio's doin and im sure laura will put on here how rosie is aswell.
rio's getting really big and her belly towards back end is really hard so dont think it will be to long now.im glad your feeling better now though.

hi there rbb,rio did all you,ve said but it is hard to say likei was told the only way you know if sure is if you take them to vet to be scanned.
but like i say rio did these same things and she's due this sun the 5th and at the lastest 11th

hi laura,i took rio's temp on the 26.03.09 and it was 37.8
then again on the 28.03.09 and it was 37.8
and today being 30.03.09 and it was 37.6
what has it got to drop to?
the inter gives lots of different answers when trying to find out 37.6c to f god dam the internet

Hi cllmmllm,Temp normally drops slightly a up to a week before whelping. You are looking for quite a big drop to around 36.7 c. This is what Rosies dropped to yesterday morning, labour will then commence within 12 - 24 hours of this drop in temp.

hi hun im feeling better now lol hope rosies ok and cant wait to see pics of her n pups together leia's back to her normal self shes lost a little weight and boobies starting to shrink a bit so im puttin it down to a phantom bloody vet i coulda saved meself a fortune and just asked u guys lol never mind... well roll on august for next season this time ill keep em separated until shes ready to stand for him then ill know for deffo time scale eh! ... well now ill just have to be broody over ur twos puppies lol... glglglglgl to rosie and rio lookin forward to seeing both sets of pups xxx

Glad leia is back to herself x x I would like to announce the arrival of Rosie and Otto's pups lol! We have 7 lovley pups 2 red 2 brindle and 3 white which have all latched on to mum! (5 girls 2 boys) Sadly though we had 2 red and whte still born girls wo are now running free at ranibow bridge :'0( Will add pics as soon x x
