Mondeo Engine Overheating
Messages 1 to 5 of 5.
I'm not sure whether this is due to the rear discs not being correctly fitted, or whether its something else. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance

If you are stuck in traffic, the fan should cut in to keep the temperature down. If the fan isn't working, then it would overheat.

After a gentle drive, feel the wheels for excesive heat each pair front and rear should be the same temp. But not hot. If hot you may have a problem their. Have you checked the water level to ensure correct level at cold ? does this happen on tick over with some engine reving ? Does the fan kick in ok ? When it last had a water system change if ever was anti freeze added ?
